YNP 2014 - Wildlife Sightings

"Without enough wilderness America will change. Democracy, with its myriad personalities and increasing sophistication, must be fibred and vitalized by regular contact with outdoor growths — animals, trees, sun warmth and free skies — or it will dwindle and pale."  - Walt Whitman

Yellowstone is such an amazing place to experience wilderness!  We thought we would start sharing some photos and information about our sightings.

James got this great picture of a Peregrine Falcon!  It was soaring overhead when we were on the Yellowstone Picnic Area hike during Jimmy's visit. 8/10/2014

The Bison Rut - August 2014
During the rut Bison become very active and "vocal".  This provided us with the opportunity to get stuck in a few "bison jams" on the road through Hayden Valley, and also provided some nice photo opportunities too.
